We offer professional cylinder head machining for the 20V engines – as fitted in the Audi S2 / RS2 / Urquattro / S4 / S6 / 200 20V / Sportquattro, for example.
In the base version, the following services are included for your supplied cylinder head:

We strongly recommend the combustion chamber machining in particular! The great benefit of combustion chamber machining (to equalise the volumetric efficiency potential across all cylinders) is a reduction of the heat cracks typically present in the spark plug thread bridges by lowering the combustion chamber. As a rule, 7 out of 10 heat cracks are eliminated by this process.
By machining and enlarging the ports, a correspondingly greater air volume can enter the combustion chamber with less resistance.
Valve seats can also be replaced – all 20 seats are exchanged (useful for an upgrade to larger valves, for example).
Exhaust valve seat cooling means we drill a specifically positioned hole to the valve seat on the exhaust side, so that the valve seat is surrounded by coolant – which significantly reduces wear and also lowers exhaust gas temperatures.
If you have a naturally aspirated head, we can perform the conversion to turbo (adding the water gallery, missing head studs and Hall sensor boss).
