Timing belt cover conversion kit for adjustable cam gear (upper), Audi AAN / ABY / ADU.
A section must be removed from the top of the original timing belt cover so that the cover shown can be bonded in place using standard workshop adhesives (e.g. plastic adhesive such as Petec Plastibond). Our cover is optimised to eliminate the mandatory grinding of the cam gear against the cover, and is manufactured from weather-, UV- and dimensionally stable plastic suitable for automotive use. Two internal "ribs" have been incorporated for added rigidity.
This product is the "rounded" cover shown in image "1". NOT included in the delivery is the used original timing belt cover also shown. The second image shows the result AFTER installation.
