The core is approx. 55mm thick (OEM S2: 35mm, RS2: 44mm!) and fits the original mounting points. The fan shroud / A/C condenser can also be fitted without issue. The optional coolant fan thermoswitch comes as a motorsport variant to limit/regulate thermal loads and the associated wear through earlier fan activation:
Motorsport switch: 1st switching stage – 87°C – 77°C; 2nd switching stage – 92°C – 82°C
