The 5inline 500 is no ordinary engine – it is the latest evolution of the legendary Audi 20V Turbo. Completely freshly built and fitted with a high-performance billet crankshaft, it delivers true 2.7-litre displacement for maximum power and durability.
Compatible with all body styles (e.g. Typ85 (B2 platform)/Typ89 (B3 platform), B4, C4, Typ44 (C3 platform), etc.) and all common engine codes (AAN, ABY, ADU, 3B, RR, etc.).
Technical Highlights:

Engine block: cleaned, paint-stripped, re-coated, bored and honed to spec, main bearing tunnel re-measured

Internal components: performance forged pistons, special H-beam con-rods, motorsport main and con-rod bearings

Oil & Cooling: motorsport oil and water pump with modified circuit

Cylinder head: fully overhauled, pressure-tested, surfaced, CNC combustion chamber work, inlet/exhaust port work, new guides and valve stem seals, valve seats machined, valves ultrasonically cleaned

Gasket & Fasteners: motorsport head gasket with ARP2000 head studs

Details: full carbon timing belt cover, re-coated cam cover with modified motorsport crankcase ventilation system
