Prepared 2.2L / 2.5L engine block (without ancillaries) for use in all 20V Turbo variants. Compatible with all classic Audi 5-cylinder engines.
You will always receive the correct matching combination from us — regardless of which piston / con-rod option you select!
Please only select the 100mm crankshaft if you are ordering a 2.5L block.
Please note that there will be a lead time, as the engines are assembled to order individually for each customer.
The following conversion work is carried out, among other things:
The engine block is designed for both OEM Audi RPM/TDC trigger and 60-2 trigger wheel. 10V turbo cylinder heads can also be fitted.
To complete your build, all additional items can be added via the drop-down menu. The 86.4mm crankshafts are shipped fully machined. Machining includes the following steps:

Engine block gasket set for 5-cylinder engines, incl. 2 sump gaskets.
Delivery by freight carrier only. Collection in person: the €99 freight charge will be refunded.
The engine block available for sale is an ADU / ABY / AAN.
The motorsport oil pump for 20V turbo engines (available from the drop-down menu) offers excellent pressure stability and low variation — whereas OEM and aftermarket pumps often deliver inconsistent pressure or significant deviations. For pumps without a roller (i.e. for ABY / AAN / ADU engines only) an additional bracket is required for the lower timing belt cover plate — this is not included.

- Engine block measured
- Main bearing gallery inspected and measured
- Sealing surfaces milled flat
- Engine block chemically stripped and cleaned, re-coated
- Con-rod clearance pockets machined / enlarged in cylinder bores
- For use with standard 2.2L crankshaft (86.4mm stroke), standard 2.5L crankshaft (95.5mm), 2.5L billet crankshaft (92.8mm stroke) or maximum stroke (100mm) — selectable via drop-down menu

- Oil pump drive laser-welded
- Crankshaft nitrided
- Crankshaft straightened and measured
- Crankshaft journals lapped
- Crankshaft electronically precision-balanced with crankshaft pulley as a unit (to 0)
