The intercooler is the maximum size available as a replacement for the standard unit. Better throughput via an optimised core and significantly improved cooling performance supporting outputs of up to approximately 450 bhp are entirely achievable. The intercooler has been tested at boost pressures of up to 2.5 bar in-house. During the dyno run referenced, the MAT remained within a range where the Motronic did not need to compensate, which speaks for the potential of this product.
Minor fitting adjustments using standard workshop tools may be required.
For even larger build stages, a matching intercooler is available in our shop.
