Power steering pump complete overhaul.
To proceed, you will of course need to send us your pump beforehand. We will inspect it and, if an externally undamaged and complete pump is received, we will forward it to the specialist rebuilding company for detailed inspection and assessment. If an overhaul / rebuild is not possible, the pump will be returned to you, or disposed of upon request. An exact lead time cannot be given in advance due to the various factors involved.
The supplied oil must be used – this is mandatory!
Warranty and Guarantee Notice for DIY Installation of a Power Steering Pump
If the supplied power steering pump is installed by the buyer themselves or by unauthorised personnel, neither warranty nor guarantee can be accepted for the function of the product. Correct installation must be carried out exclusively by an authorised specialist workshop.
For trouble-free operation and to protect the replacement pump, the entire hydraulic system must be flushed in accordance with manufacturer specifications. It is expressly recommended to renew all hydraulic lines and the steering rack, as significant amounts of contamination and metal debris may have accumulated in the system over long periods of inactivity. If this is not observed, the seller accepts no liability for any failures or consequential damage to the power steering pump.
This notice forms part of the contract of sale and is binding for all warranty and guarantee claims.
