The EMU Black is a leading, standalone engine management system designed to operate the most advanced and complex engines available. It targets race cars, road vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications, controlling injection, ignition, and auxiliary systems in 1-12 cylinder engines.
Especially in the area of our Audi 5-cylinder, it is a TOP solution to individually and safely exploit the engine capabilities of a vehicle.
With our proprietary adapter, including a cable connection (selectable via dropdown menu), much of the annoying cable fiddling is eliminated when connecting.

Targeting race cars, street cars, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications, the ECU Master controls the fuel, ignition, and auxiliary systems of 1-12 cylinder engines, including those with wire-throttling and VVT.
EMU Black can directly control up to six passive or 12 intelligent coils and requires no external amplifiers or power modules. Sophisticated drive-by-wire strategies offer a wide range of throttle control options as well as advanced plausibility (fail/fail) safety checks.
ECU Master EMU Black features an integrated wideband lambda input (Bosch LSU 4.2 and LSU 4.9 sensors connect directly), a MAP control port (4 bar MAP sensor on board), 2 EGT sensor inputs and a flexfuel input.
You benefit from greater flexibility and lower costs – external or additional control systems are not required.

The dropdown menus essentially offer everything you need for a start. The article "Software Start Setup" describes how to get a data set that allows you to start the car (break-in software, low boost pressure!!!) – of course, the vehicle still needs to be tuned afterward!
