The EMU Black on offer is a leading, standalone engine management system developed to operate the most advanced and complex engines available. It targets racing cars, road vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications, controlling injection, ignition, and auxiliary systems on 1- to 12-cylinder engines.
Particularly for our Audi 5-cylinder engines, it is an outstanding solution for extracting the full engine potential safely and individually.
With our own adapter, including integrated cabling (selectable via the drop-down menu), the majority of the tedious wiring work is eliminated during installation.

EMU Black is a leading, standalone engine management system for the most advanced and complex engines on the market. The WWU device hardware and software have been significantly improved. The ECU Master engine management unit targets racing cars, road vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and stationary engine applications, controlling the fuel, ignition, and auxiliary systems of 1–12-cylinder engines, including engines with drive-by-wire throttle body and VVT.

EMU Black can directly drive up to six passive or 12 smart coils and requires no external amplifiers or power modules. Sophisticated drive-by-wire strategies offer a wide range of throttle body control with advanced plausibility (fault/error) safety checks.

ECU Master EMU Black features an integrated wideband lambda input (Bosch LSU 4.2 and LSU 4.9 sensors connect directly), a MAP control connection (4-bar MAP sensor on board), 2 EGT probe inputs, and a Flex Fuel input.

You benefit from greater flexibility and lower costs – no external or additional control systems required.

The drop-down options provide essentially everything you need to get started. The
Software Start Set-Up item describes the option to receive a base map that allows the engine to start (running-in software, low boost!!!) – the vehicle will still require final tuning afterwards.
