Due to project cancellation, this fully built and uncompromisingly optimised 5inline 500 motorsport engine is now for sale. The customer has abandoned the project, creating a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine high-end unit.

Engine Details:

• 2226cc Engine Block: Completely cleaned, re-coated, fitted with Stage 1 oil pump and motorsport bearings.

• Crankshaft: Nitrided, precision-balanced.

• Connecting rods: H-beam con-rod specification.

• Pistons: RS2, machined for compression reduction.

• Modified oil circuit (cylinder 3 lubrication issue permanently resolved!)

• Motorsport head gasket with fire-ring sealing technology.

Cylinder Head and Ancillaries:

• Fully overhauled 20V Turbo cylinder head:

  • New valves

  • CNC-machined combustion chamber and port work (inlet/exhaust)

  • Valve guides and stem seals renewed and tapered

  • Exhaust valve seat cooling incorporated

  • Mechanical valve train with 5inline sport camshaft (10.5 mm lift)

  • Motorsport CNC intake manifold

• EVO Exhaust Manifold with Garrett GTX 3071 turbocharger
  (manifold and turbo used, supplied by the customer, approximately 1,500 km run)

• Turbine housing and manifold are thermally insulated.

• RS2 Stage 1 Water Pump with maximally enlarged billet impeller.

• Adjustable cam gear.

• Steel crankshaft sprocket incl. diamond disc.

• Carbon timing belt cover and thermally insulated heat shield on the manifold.
