High-tech bargain – project task!

For reasons of the project task, a fully constructed and uncompromisingly optimized 5inline500 Motorsport engine for sale. The customer abandoned the project, so now is a rare opportunity to acquire a truly high-end engine.

Engine details:

• 2226ccm engine block: Completely cleaned, recoated, equipped with Stage 1 oil pump and motorsport bearings.

• Crankshaft: Nitrided, finely balanced.

• Connecting rod: H-shank version.

• Pistons: RS2, machined to reduce compaction.

• Modified Oil circuit (Problem with the 3rd cylinder permanently solved!)

• Motorsport head gasket with Cutting ring technology .

Cylinder head and ancillary units:

• Fully reconditioned 20V turbo cylinder head:

  • New valves

  • CNC-machined combustion chamber and port machining (inlet/exhaust)

  • Guides and shaft seals renewed and tapered

  • Valve seat outlet cooling introduced

  • Mechanical valve train with 5inline sports camshaft (10.5mm lift)

  • Motorsport CNC intake manifold

• Exhaust manifold EVO with Garrett GTX 3071 turbocharger
  (Manifold and turbo used, delivered by customer, mileage approx. 1,500km)

• Turbine housing and manifold are thermally insulated.

• RS2 Stage 1 water pump with maximum enlarged billet impeller.

• Adjustable camshaft sprocket.

• Steel crankshaft gear incl. diamond disc.

• Carbon timing belt cover and thermally insulated shielding plate on the manifold.
