This is a further development of the well-known Motorsport oil pump we use, which we have modified to prevent the detrimental foaming of oil in the crankshaft drive! Ex works, the oil is sucked in again via the overflow valve when the maximum pressure is reached - this causes the oil temperature to rise significantly and the oil begins to "foam up". This means that the pump partially sucks in air, which can cause the oil film to break off. This completely eliminates our modified pump!
Important: To install this oil pump, an additional hole MUST be drilled in the block with the oil pan removed! You will be informed of the location of the required hole after purchase. The hole can be drilled with normal workshop tools!
Furthermore, this pump is very pressure-stable - whereas the original pumps/reproduction pumps often deliver different pressures or sometimes have large deviations. As there is no washer for the pressure control valve on a new oil pump, please select the washer from the drop-down menu. 3mm was fitted ex works on all ABY / ADU and AAN. Higher performance engines should use the 4 or even 5mm version.
Pump without pulley only for ABY / AAN / ADU engine! An additional bracket must be used for the lower timing belt cover plate, this is included with the pump.
