The diamond disc sits between the crankshaft and the vibration damper.
At high torques, screw connections can loosen or at least become loose due to the forces acting on them. Over time, this can cause defects in the timing belt wheel and ultimately in the engine. The diamond disc - also called Friction Disc - increases friction immensely by up to 300% and thereby ensures a better connection between the crankshaft gear and the crankshaft and is therefore ideal for engines with high torque.
The diamond disc is 3mm thick.
