Upgrade Wastegate Spring Audi 5 Cylinder – 6 kg Version

This upgrade wastegate spring is the ideal solution for the original wastegate of classic Audi 5-cylinder engines. With the 6 kg version, boost pressures of up to approx. 3 bar absolute pressure can be achieved, making it a suitable and reliable solution for most conversions with the original wastegate.

This spring is recommended if you want to run a boost pressure of up to approx. 2.5 bar. Above that, we recommend a 9 kg spring.

Especially with tuned engines, the stronger spring ensures more stable boost pressure control and supports clean, consistent control behavior. For operation and especially when opening the wastegate, we also recommend using an upgrade diaphragm/new diaphragm to further optimize function and durability.
